In September 2019 we were in Oxford, England to improve our English skills. We started the journey on the 13th September as we flew from Vienna to London Heathrow. Soon after we got introduced to our host families and were shown around the little town called Wheatley. On Saturday we took the bus to the beautiful city of London, where we did a river cruise, visited Westminster Abbey, went through St. James’s Park to Buckingham palace and had a bit of free time to explore the capital ourselves. We went to CES language school from Monday to Friday. After school we often went on little trips to Oxford inner city. We visited Oxford University, went river punting, and had a blast running around the huge shopping center “Westgate Oxford”. Altogether we had a fun time getting to know the typical English everyday life and making this experience as a class.
